This project was carried out in collaboration with two Master's students. It focused on forecasting air freight prices and volumes. Modern Transformer-based time series models were used. Previous Excel models were replaced by production-ready forecasting models.
A SARIMAX time series model significantly improved the planning of task volumes in the Service Center, which reduced over-planning and lowered personnel costs.
A PowerBI dashboard tracks the monthly forecast accuracy of revenue and enables targeted improvements for long-term optimization of forecasts.
