As part of my Master's thesis, I implemented a data science project that focused on predicting building types and energy classes of Dutch properties. The goal was to develop machine learning models based on publicly available data from kadaster.nl that can automatically complete urban datasets and are marketed via geogap.nl . This project was carried out in collaboration with two Master's students. It focused on forecasting air freight prices and volumes. Modern Transformer-based time series models were used. Previous Excel models were replaced by production-ready forecasting models.
A SARIMAX time series model significantly improved the planning of task volumes in the Service Center, which reduced over-planning and lowered personnel costs.
A PowerBI dashboard tracks the monthly forecast accuracy of revenue and enables targeted improvements for long-term optimization of forecasts.
I combine technical expertise in Data Science & Business Intelligence with experience as an agile project manager and Product Owner. I conduct workshops and training sessions and can be hired for data engineering as well as data science projects.
